I currently have over 400 industry-related hours between volunteer work, my job as an event staff, working with Live Nation, my time as an assistant stage manager and my junior internship.
While working with Contemporary Service Corporation (CSC) as an event staff, I had the opportunity to work for professional sports teams such as the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies. I have experience working large-scale concerts at the Wells Fargo Center and smaller-scale venues like the Franklin Music Hall. I ensured the safety of the guests by checking bags, observing people at security checkpoints, and monitoring any disruptions.
For a Stage Management theater course I took at Temple University, I was required to assistant stage manage and I worked with the cast and crew of the opera, Lucretia. I managed the props, hand-offs, the backstage area, the stage, and scene changes. During rehearsals, I would manage the Excel sheets that had the cues in which props were being used. I setup and broke down the rehearsal space.
For my junior internship, I worked as an Event Coordinator with Business Clubs of America. I supported my supervisor by creating new ideas for present and future events. I helped curate ideas for sponsorships. Created a sponsorship proposal for their future March Madness event. I was leading the volunteers and assisting with load-in, setup, and breakdown in venues like the Kimmel Center and Live! Casino Philadelphia.
While working as Guest Services at the Fillmore Philadelphia, I am there to assist guests with their needs. I handle and resolve any complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. Make sure the guests are safe and there are no disturbances. I provide information about the products and services the venue offers.
